or probably even gonne since i clicked one setting off in the settings tab for the trackpad.įor my music uses: ( pianoteq / Gig performer3 ( vst-Host) )īig thumbs up from my side / very very happy that i was waiting so long with a "new computer" purchase ! so you would continue on another placeīut its way way better since the first update.Īlso: some "on-screen prompts/windows would open just by striving it with the mosue cursor. ( the cursor jumping when stopping for a moment with writing. (i´m also surfing a german mac forum since a few days and am now thru with the M1 related posts)Īhh wait, one thing: i had strange problems with the mouse cursor, writing was becoming really disappointing ! The other: 4K screen connection with the wrong cable ( iirc needs USB-C and NOT HDMI, which seems to be the case in general)

There are NO problems using the original Apple BT keyboard/Trackpad !! works perfect ! It seems mainly (or: only) two things: ext. There ARE reports of problems with the M1mini what i saw on the web. Guess thats so since catalina / this caused me troubles and is in fact still doing* (* with reaper.since i denied, haha) ) Reaper or other Audio apps with audio input: you HAVE to enable the microphone acess when you are asked for !!.otherwise you can´t record audio ! I´ve run reaper just once and it worked fine ( i´m not into Reaper / but: they have a beta or so for big sur, so check what you download) Pianoteq works just fine !! i´ve not specificly watched if latencys are bigger. While some of the very small and straightforward ones do miss one or the other small function.īut now is the time.i´m on a M1 mac with big sur, and Steinberg.well, the saying is they never ported their code in proper to the mac, just kind of running a translation under the hood. They all have something strange/uninspiring when it comes to the UI or other tasks, but i could not gel with any other than wavelab so far. I know there have been numerous threads here about wave editors. *Good means: overlookable and logic in use, not missing basic functions What should i look into ?.is any of the Izotope things good for this ? which one ? if possible with zero-cross quantisation for those actions. I need just: recording, cutting, looping, set markers for editing.
